SIR Paul McCartney has played an intimate gig for 700 fans at the Highline Ballroom in New York.
The former Beatle, who turns 65 on Monday, entertained the small audience with tracks from his new album Memory Almost Full, Fab Four classics and solo songs.
The show followed an identical performance in London last week in support of the album, his first under the recently launched label Hear Music, part-owned by Starbucks.
