Doug's show was inspired by his many meetings with Alf Bicknell, The Beatles' road manager from 1964 to 66. "Alf was actually present when Elvis Presley met The Beatles," says Doug.
"We can only imagine what the real thing might have been like. But we feel we have got it pretty close." Catch the show at: Theatre Royal, St Helens, August 26; Assembly Rooms, Birkenhead Town Hall, August 27.
