JON IS celebrating 10 years with his show Instant Karma. It is a tribute to John Lennon - post Beatles.
The 33-year old's show is what he likes to call the Concert John never gave Crosby-born Jon says: "I concentrate on the lyrically powerful stuff like God from my favourite Lennon album Plastic Ono Band, and tracks like How from Imagine."
One of Jon's favourite shows last year was at the Royal Court in Liverpool when he was joined by the original Quarry Men.
Jon also appeared as Lennon in a show at the Liverpool Playhouse called In My Life. Yet when Jon started off in show business, it was Paul McCartney who was his own personal favourite.
"My brother was a Lennon fan so it was case of if he likes John then I'm going to like Paul. I still love McCartney's Band On The Run and I have the utmost respect for him as an artist. It's just that I delved into John's solo stuff and I was really amazed at what he had written.
"I was once asked what I thought John would be doing when he was 60. I said that I hoped he would still be on the circuit and writing class material.
"I just feel sorry that he seemed to be at his best when he was 40. Since he died there has been so much written about him by people who never met him some really sick stuff and it's so sad that he's not here to defend himself."
