Historic time as paper reaches its 150th anniversary in company of university

The Daily Post is throwing a very special party to mark the start of this year's BusinessLIVE week.
It is special because the party, sponsored by Liverpool John Moores University, kick starts its own 150th anniversary celebrations.
The event, at the London Carraigeworks restaurant on Hope Street, will be attended by 300 invited guests from the Liverpool business community, many of whom are taking part in the BusinessLIVE week.
The event will be addressed by former Daily Post reporter and broadcaster John Seargent. He will be recounting his experiences of working as a trainee at the paper and living in Liverpool 30 years ago.
Daily Post assistant editor Mark Thomas, who has been organising the party, said: "Over the years we have reported on all the big stories that shaped the late Victorian era, the 20th century and the first five years of the current millennium. It's great to feel part of that history as it continues to unfold.
