2020 Liverpool is joint venture company owned by Liverpool council and Mouchel Parkman and was established in 2003 following Mouchel Parkman's selection as preferred bidder for Liverpool's 10-year property and professional services contract.
The name 2020 Liverpool refers to the Mercury Court-based organisation's vision for the partnership and its long-term commitment to delivering quality services in Liverpool.
Its aim is to make 2020 Liverpool an example of the kind of public-private sector partnership that others will want to copy.
Services provided by 2020 include valuations, disposals and property management in estates; architecture, structural engineering, building services engineering, quantity surveying, and building surveying in the building sector and in transport and the public realm it works on projects, technical services, traffic systems, and strategic projects
A spokeswoman said: "2006 is 2020 Liverpool's third year of supporting the Enterprise Champions awards and we are proud to sponsor the Social Enterprise category as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the community."
There are six categories in the awards: Best Small Business; Best New Business; Best Micro Business; Social Enterprise of the Year; Young Business Person of the Year; and Enterprise Champion and the final will take place in the city's trendy Pan American Club on June 28.
