LCI operates four casinos in London including Fifty and The Sportsman, as well as The Rendezvous in Southend and Brighton. It plans to open Manchester235 in Manchester in October.
This week Stanley, which has 45 casinos across the UK, also announced that Edinburgh magistrates had agreed to a new licence in respect of the relocation of one of its three casinos in Edinburgh to a brand new 30,000 sq ft casino in the established Fountain Park development.
Stanley expects to open the Fountain Park casino during the first half of 2007.
The group has also been granted three new licences this year, in Nottingham, Liverpool and Sheffield.
It is progressing with five more new licence applications for additional casinos in the provinces and with a further five new licence applications in respect of relocations in London, Plymouth, Southport, Liverpool and Southampton.
