Models show off the latest wedding outfits at the ECHO Fashion Show

CATWALK glamour and high-street style thrilled the audience on the last night of the Liverpool ECHO Fashion Show.

More than 2,000 people enjoyed four shows over two days at the Lifestyle tennis centre in Wavertree. ECHO events organiser Jenny Snell said: "It has been a great success. This is our eleventh year, and we are already planning for number twelve."

Sponsored by Lewis's, the show included names as diverse as Marks & Spencer, Karen Millen and George taking to the catwalk.

Show-goer Vonya Haycock from Billinge said: "I've always been interested in fashion, and this is a great way to see the autumn/winter collections." First-time visitor to the show was Mary Reid from Aigburth.

She said: "My favourite part of the show was the catwalk. It was stunning."

ECHO women's editor Susan Lee said: "I'm really proud of what we have achieved over the past 11 years.

"The show has grown into a first-rate event and can only get bigger in the future."
