A CLUB that was once good enough for the Beatles, The Blue Angel (commonly known as 'The Raz'), is definitely no longer a locals place.
Instead it has become an institution for the students who can bare blacked out windows and unbelievably cheesy music, for the sake of a cheap night - and insanely cheap it is. The offer of drinks at 50p a pint or £1 a shot must be too hard to resist for the hundreds of students who descend on the venue nightly.
The interior is far from the classiest in Liverpool and the inebriated folk who insist on jumping around and chanting, make it slightly hot and sweaty to say the least. However if your prepared to ignore such minor set backs and are all for a good laugh, then its certainly worth checking out.
With three separate dance floors and two bars there's plenty of room to strut your stuff to the sounds of Sclub7 and The Village People, and with drinks as cheap as they are its likely you wont remember a thing.
