Dean's sticky moment at his 50th

HIS Brookie alter ego Jimmy Corkhill was hardly what you'd describe as a party animal, but Dean Sullivan certainly knows how to celebrate.

He was up singing by the piano at Morgans restaurant in Woolton village until the early hours, marking a birthday milestone - his half century.

Morgans owner Sandy Kelly, threw a party for around 20 close friends and family - including his two goddaughters Helen and Laura.

Apparently a fantastic time was had by all.

"Dean looked great, dressed all in white, and he was singing Sinatra," reveals one guest.

"He got lots of presents, champagne and flowers and, instead of a traditional birthday cake, head chef Darren Burke made him a big sticky toffee pudding with candles on top!"
