In one show, Mark McGann found himself in the chorus singing alongside a still unknown Holly Johnson. "Perhaps you only realise the significance of it all with time," says Mark, who went on to star in such top TV series as Where The Heart Is. "We all sensed something special and exciting was happening. It was undoubtedly a golden period of life in a unique city." "Countless people in the business owe so much to the Everyman." Mark McGann is among those backing the theatre's new Life Begins fund, which is also launched on Sunday. The aim is to raise funds to commission two new plays a year.
