"This, for me, is a dream job. I couldn't be happier.
"With this production no stone is left unturned. I've got the best dialect coach, singing coach and the director is brilliant - as is the assistant director, Jamie Lloyd, who trained at LIPA and is an up and coming name."
But all joking aside, there is a down side to working with some of the hottest hunks in film and TV.
Being away from home. "I'm touring with Guys and Dolls and then I'm doing panto in Nottingham, so I'm on the road from September to February. I'm not complaining, it's a great job, but I have never been away for this length of time.
"It's good that Tony is flexible, and he's brilliant at travelling to be with me," she confides about her longterm beau. "But I did say to him the other day that I was concerned about the amount of time I am away from home but he just said 'Claire, you don't have to worry. I will be there for you'.
