LIVERPOOL'S Hollywood-based actor Jason Isaacs will be returning home - but just for a while and for the best of reasons.
Isaacs has become one of Tinsel Town's top villains with a series of screen grabbing roles from The Patriot to last Christmas's Peter Pan playing Captain Hook.
It led one film magazine to describe him as "Hollywood's Brit villain du jour."
While the real-life Isaacs is a real charmer it is for a villainous role that he will be returning.
He is heading back to Britain to film the fourth Harry Potter book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
He had played arch villain Lucius Malfoy in the second Potter film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. But he missed out on the third as his character did not feature in the book.
The Childwall-born actor originally planned a career in law. "But when I auditioned for an acting society at university I realised it was more entertaining than the law and you could meet girls!"
