Monday

There is only one place in Ibiza for me on a Monday night and that is worshipping at the feet of my favourite DJ Roger Sanchez at Release Yourself at Pacha.

We start the evening with a sunset at Judge Jules' bar Kasbah in San An where we run into DJ pal Rob Tissera who is throwing his Kiss Da Funk parties at the revamped Bar Kanya this year.

After sundown we catch Roger's pre-party set at Café Mambo where he is really working it.

We roll up to Pacha at around 1.45am. Roger is on top form sending the mainly Spanish and Italian crowd crazy. At around 3am a Brazilian carnival band takes centrestage complete with dancing girls and Roger cuts up his beats to work with the drums. It is an amazing spectacle.

When he drops his new track Lost the place goes mental. We sneak out just before the 7am finish.

Tuesday

After a couple of years absence from the island, DJ Sonique rocks up at Pikes today with a bang.

She talks to everyone around the pool and sticks her new track Tonight on at the bar on repeat. I don't think I will ever get it out of my head as long as I live.

Time to refuel and recharge tonight so no clubbing, just some fine Indian food at the famous Curry Club in San An.

Wednesday

After the sunshine of Space and the sophistication of Pacha tonight is time for the craziness that is Liverpool's looniest export Garlands at Eden.

We get to the club at gone two and it is looking a little sedate for Garlands. Until the Garlands workers/dancers file in.

Huey is on the decks, playing like his life depends on it. A remix of the Pussycat Dolls and Put Your Hands Up For Detroit sends everyone into orbit. More please Mr H!

* Catch my column next week for the lowdown on Cream at Amnesia, Kiss Da Funk and Miss Moneypenny's. Now I'm off for a dip in the pool.
