The bulk of the crowd had, of course, come to see Kerr and co belt out the classics and they were rewarded with the likes of a ten minute version of Ghostdancing (including a snatch of Van Morrison's Gloria), the anthemic Waterfront, Sanctify Yourself and Belfast Child.
Keeping the crowd eating out of the palm of their hands they saved Alive And Kicking until last.
"I'm getting too old for this," laughed Kerr as he left the stage.
