Today he no longer even listens to Led Zeppelin. "Did I grow out of it? I believe that's the best way to put it."
Besides, he just loves the Sinatra repertoire.
He can still sing as Henry Prego. But when given the Sinatra job, he worked on the stage mannerisms as well as the songs. "I trained for four months on Jack Daniels and packs of cigarettes."
But best of all, when he came to learn the songs many times he realised he already knew the worlds. "I guess they were al- ready embedded in me."
While he may have given up Led Zeppelin, he retains an affection for The Beatles.
"Liverpool means a lot to me as it's where the lads came from. I just can't wait to get there and see the place."
