Maggot from Welsh hip-hop band Goldie Lookin' Chain

YOU might think he had had enough of romance after the Big Brother shenanigans.

But Celebrity Big Brother star and Newport's tallest rapper Maggot wants to show his softer side. So he's encouraging lovers to propose live on stage at his Valentine's Day show in Liverpool.

Goldie Lookin' Chain perform their show at Liverpool's Carling Academy on February 14.

And anyone looking to walk down the aisle with their partner just needs to utter the password to get on stage and announce their love.

Maggot, who lived in Liverpool for a year as a student, says: "You need to go up to the merchandise man and say 'Can you feel the love?' and we're going to let people get up on stage and propose."

But even after all his heavy partying and new-found fame Maggot says: "There is still no Mrs Maggot yet though."

When the rag-tag group of celebrities strutted into the Celebrity Big Brother house a few weeks ago nobody knew what to expect. And it's fair to say that TV addicts probably didn't count on Goldie Lookin' Chain's Maggot and all of his fake bling.

So-called because of his favourite flesh-coloured sleeping-bag-style puffer jacket, Maggot settled into life in the house pretty quietly.

Generally staying out of trouble, avoiding rows and taking the occasional sneaky glimpse at Traci in her workout gear, the Welsh rapper won over the voting audience to bag third place.

This week he was celebrating his freedom from Celebrity Big Brother's control. Speaking quietly and politely in his Welsh accent Maggot says: "It's nice to be back in the real world. There is a 'Welcome Home Maggot' party in Newport planned for St David's Day.
