Clubs With Emma Johnson, Liverpool Echo

IF it is the end of July then I must be in Ibiza. And while there is a cocktail by the pool with my name on it I have taken time out from sunbathing to fill you in on my partying adventures. So here goes:

Friday

The holiday doesn't get off to the best of starts when after blagging invites to one of the most exclusive parties in Ibiza, David Guetta's F*** Me I'm Famous bash at Pacha, a massive delay on our flight means we arrive in Ibiza too late to go.

So while DJ Bob Sinclair tears up the dancefloor for all the beautiful people at Pacha we get ourselves re-acquainted with the White Isle via a few jugs of sangria.

As ever we are staying at our home from home in Ibiza, the exclusive Pikes Hotel which offers refuge to many a star and DJ - but more of that later. Our host Tony Pike greets us when we arrive before shooting off to Pacha himself - still going strong at 70-something.

Saturday

Get stuck into the sunbathing with a relaxing day at the pool at Pikes catching up with the guests who we see year in year out.

We are starting slowly on the partying front, no clubbing tonight, just dinner at our favourite Ibiza restaurant the Moroccan themed El Ayoun in San Rafael where not only is the food great but the waiters look like models and you get a free fashion show.

Sunday

Forget church - in Ibiza on Sunday you go to We Love... at Space in Playa d'en Bossa.

Open from 8am Sunday until 6am Monday you can party on the sun terrace in the dark Discotheca inside or the new glass-enclosed terrace for as long or as little as you like. Being sun terrace animals we

take the afternoon shift arriving at Space around 3.30pm.

For the first time in years of trying we are actually on the notoriously strict guestlist. Yippee, that just saved us 50 euros. Inside the terrace is rocking to the sounds of residents Jonathan Ulysses Tom Novy and Tiefschwartz. We get stuck in and are soon working up a sweat.

We troop out just before midnight. We have been boogieing for eight hours.
