Ferry Cross The Mersey

By Alicia Gardner, icNorth West

WHEN visiting Liverpool no trip would be complete without going on a ferry cross the Mersey.

Cruises go from Liverpool pier head, Seacombe ferry terminal and Woodside ferry terminal.  After leaving the ports the ferries cruise down to the mouth of the river Mersey, taking around fifty minutes for a round trip.

Commentary about Liverpool's colourful maritime history and world famous waterfront entertains passengers along the way.

Cruises depart hourly from the ports and there is the option to stop off in each port you call at.
