THE recently refurbished Walker gallery now holds even more exquisite works of arts than before.
The refurbishment included the introduction of a new section to the gallery to exhibit touring shows of national and international importance, the re-hanging of the permanent collection to ensure many pieces not seen for years are now on display and the development of a craft and design gallery to be completed during 2003.
The new section of the Walker will display such things as ceramics, jewellery, costumes and metalwork as well as many other pieces.
The Walker is located in Liverpool city centre and admission to the main galleries is free. They may be charges for special exhibits and events.
