BLUECOAT art gallery is located on the first floor of the Bluecoats art centre in Liverpool's city centre.
The art gallery has exhibits of contemporary pieces from local and international artists, holding around eight exhibitions a year showing a wide range of styles.
They display exciting new developments within many different aspects of art such as painting and sculpture too installation video and digital art.
The Grade l listed cornerstone of Liverpool' sartistic life, and currently undergoing an exciting refurbishment of its studio's, stages, workshops and galleries.

In 2004 BDC was one of only six British Art Galleries outside London represented at COLLECT at the V&A - the UK's first annual fair exclusively for contemporary applied decorative art.
Bluecoat also occasionally holds informal artists talks on a Saturday afternoon. The events are free and begin at 2pm.
