Underground World War ll Bunker

WESTERN Approaches is an underground world war ll headquarters located beneath the city streets of Liverpool.
Visitors can look around the 50,000 sq foot maze of rooms to see where the Wrens and Waafs worked during the 1940's Battle of the Atlantic.
Highlights of the museum include an Anderson Shelter, main operations room and a bunker as well as many other rooms and genuine artefacts.
The museum is open daily Tuesday to Saturday except for Friday from March to November and by special arrangement in the winter months.
